I met my first hedgehog as a child in the '90s when my mother had a pet hedgehog named Walter. Little was known about hedgehog care back then so Walter lived a simple life before being confiscated at the California border.
As a teenager I rediscovered my love of hedgehogs. I was quick to rush into breeding before doing my research and I soon found that breeding was not as easy as I had assumed. I learned about pedigrees and genetic disease from reputable breeders and decided to stop breeding hedgehogs until I had the means to do it correctly. It was more than a decade before I was finally in a position where I could provide my hedgehogs with the love and care they deserve while breeding to produce healthy and friendly pets.
Today I am a mother of two and an accountant. I have introduced my family to hedgehogs and now we breed them as a hobby because we enjoy them and want others to experience them too. We strive to improve the species and offer friendly hedgehogs that will be loved by their new owners.
